Warranty

This warranty takes effect from the date of delivery. It is granted for normal use only. HeritageBike frames are guaranteed against manufacturing or material defects for a period of 5 years. All components fitted to the bikes are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. Finishes (paintwork and stickers) are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase.

To request a guarantee, simply contact us with your purchase invoice. We will then carry out an initial diagnosis. On the basis of this diagnosis and any additional analysis of the bike or components by our technical services, the after-sales service will decide whether or not to accept the problem under warranty.

• If the problem is accepted, the component will be repaired or replaced by an identical or corresponding new part.
• If the claim is refused, we will provide you with a repair estimate. The repair will begin on acceptance of this estimate.

The warranty applies:

• On bikes purchased via our website or from one of our authorised dealers.
• Only to the first owner of the bike (the warranty is not transferred to subsequent purchasers in the event of resale).
• In the event of normal use of the bicycle.

The warranty does not apply:

• If the claims are the result of using the bike in competition or for professional use.
• If insufficient maintenance or negligence on the part of the purchaser is observed.
• In the event of accidents or other conditions of abnormal or excessive use.
• In the event of major modifications to the bicycle.
• In the event of the impact of external elements or agents (natural disasters, fire, damp).
• In the event of use that does not comply with technical and safety standards.

The warranty does not apply to wearing parts:

• Braking components (pads, discs),
• Tyres, inner tubes, rim bottoms,
• Cables and sheaths,
• Transmission components (belt, chainring, etc.),
• Handles,
• Bearings,
• Saddles.

No seller or distributor may modify the terms of this warranty, unless the seller or distributor replaces the warranty conditions with its own warranty conditions on its company letterhead.
