More than 4 years ago, when Guillaume Monsigny and I decided to embark on the Ateliers HeritageBike adventure, we probably had to be a bit reckless or visionary. If I'm honest, I'd say, looking back, that it was recklessness that dominated. It's an engine like any other, after all. The industry is a difficult, demanding and fragile sector. The dependence on many players and the market is undoubtedly greater than elsewhere, and yet this is undoubtedly the most exhilarating adventure of my entrepreneurial career.
Today, after 4 years of uncompromisingly sticking to our convictions of REALLY producing exceptional motorbikes and bicycles in France, I sincerely believe that my job and the responsibilities that fall to me are to continue to dream in order to move forward, but bearing in mind that dreams are made to be realised! In practical terms, this translates into a desire to avoid reproducing a reassuring routine in favour of opening up the field of possibilities, of unlimited creativity and, above all, guided by the search for that famous third way of the moment, as long as the convictions, ambitions, values and objectives are there.
Our 9-strong team works hard every day to offer our customers excellence and an outstanding experience, but that's not enough for us. Our ambition is to become a responsible industry by joining the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat, for example, and we're going to continue to shake up the soft mobility sector.
With 20 active partners, all convinced of the ambitions of Ateliers HeritageBike over the next few years, we are now opening up our capital to anyone who wants to take part in this fabulous adventure, which makes sense and involves a whole community of people who love beauty, exclusivity, excellence, innovation and the impact industry. Now is the time to join us in this movement, which has only just begun.
